After 22 wonderful years in business, we are sharing the bittersweet news that Calla Lily’s will be closing at the end of March 2026.
This decision was not an easy one. Our store has been more than a place of business-it has been a part of our lives and a part of this community.
We are deeply grateful to every customer who walked through our doors, supported us, shared kind words, and became part of the Calla Lily’s family. Your loyalty, trust, and encouragement made it possible for us to do what we loved for more than two decades. We truly could not have done this without you.
As we prepare to close, Sales begin today on ALL gifts with the exception of Memory Lamps and sympathy gifts, which will not be discounted.
Thank you for being part of our journey, for the memories, and for the relationships that meant so much to us. We will always carry your support and friendship with us and remain forever thankful.
Calla Lily’s located on RT 83 in Vernon, CT (we are 20 minutes from the Massachusetts line) is a gift boutique specializing in truly unique and special gifts from the heart. We carry over a hundred different styles of tiffany everlasting Memory Lamps™ a large assortment of sympathy gifts such as music boxes, wind chimes, angels, garden stones, flameless candles, prayer boxes, urns, cremation jewelry, glass hearts, glass teardrops and much more. We also carry a large assortment of unique, everyday gifts such as, Ibis and Orchid Night Lights, Clocks, Wall Vases, Tea Lights, Poo Pourri, Wax Pottery, scarfs, jewelry, Snoozies, One Sole Shoes, wine charms, Les Georgettes, wine charms, salt rocks, and so much more.
We pride ourselves on being able to offer our customers a large variety of unique affordable gifts that cannot be found in other local stores, while providing excellent personal service and FREE gift wrapping of All our products.
Calla Lily’s, a mother and daughter owned and operated business is celebrating it’s 22nd year in business. Our business concept emerged after my mom and I lost a dear family member. We wanted to give a gift that would have timeless memories instead of the traditional flowers that we felt were just too impersonal and would die after a few days erasing any lasting memories. That’s when our idea of our Memory Lamps™ was born. Sandy, being very creative and having a designer background, wrote a heart felt personalized poem to accompany the lamp. She then gift wrapped both the lamp and poem with a beautiful colorful hand-tied ribbon. Both myself and Sandy were so touch by the response and show of appreciation we got from the Memory Lamp™ that it inspired us to open Calla Lily’s and make them available to others. We now carry over a hundred styles and colors of these beautiful Memory Lamps™ along with a large selection of poems to suit many different occasions.
Memory Lamps™ are also very popular gifts for commemorating special occasions such as: retirement, weddings, new home, birthdays, get well, holidays or appreciation gifts. We have beautiful copy-written poems that accompany each lamp in a 2x3" frame.
